Our Board Adds Two New Members
The Friends of the Rail Park is excited to announce the election of two new additions to the board: Mrs. Tiffany Newmuis and Mr. Allen Hall.
Mrs. Newmuis presently serves as Senior Director of Community Engagement and Emerging Markets for Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health. She is charged with effectively engaging the community, with a focus on diverse, under-represented populations, to positively impact the health of the communities served by Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.
Previously, Mrs. Newmuis was the Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Diversity and Community Engagement for the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention. In her role with the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention, Mrs. Newmuis manages strategy, process, and people while implementing and directing all diversity goals and initiatives with respect to workforce, supplier, and operational diversity. In former capacities, Mrs. Newmuis was the Director of Diversity for the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Executive Director for the Glassboro Business District and Program Developer for the African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ, & DE (AACC).
Strategically charting her own course to success was a step she has taken on more than one occasion, as her career has been complemented with several newly created positions. As a result, this professional journey has afforded her the ability to showcase innovation, be regarded as a calculated risk taker and thrive in an ever-changing environment. The success she has experienced has resonated in her savvy of developing short as well as long-term strategies.
Mrs. Newmuis’ skills and extensive experience in diversity, inclusion, multiculturalism, corporate community relations and business development have enabled her to thrive in each of her positions, making her an important voice in the Greater Philadelphia community.
H. Allen Hall
Allen Hall has close to thirty years in the investment management business. He currently is a Managing Director at Anthony Capital Management and has specialized in trading, research and portfolio management over the course of his career. Allen is also a Director and Partner at EcoInnovate LLC, an environmental consulting firm based in Philadelphia. EcoInnovate provides management solutions to help companies create environmentally friendly workplaces.
Prior to his current roles, he was the Managing Director, Alternative Assets at Mill Creek Capital Advisors, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Allen was an analyst at Lighthouse Partners, where he sourced and performed due diligence on a diversified mix of strategies and hedge fund managers. He began his investment career in 1989 as a futures and foreign exchange trader at Trout Trading Management Co. Ltd. While at Trout, Allen was based in New Canaan, CT, Chicago and Hamilton, Bermuda.
Allen currently serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee of St. Peter’s Church in Philadelphia. He is also a member of the Finance Committee at St. Peter’s School, a non-denominational independent school. He graduated with a degree in Economics from The College of William and Mary. He is member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and the Zero Waste Business Associate certification.
